I've been sampling my way through all the Honey Pacifica honeys, and have loved each one. I've tried pine, coastal wildflower, buckwheat, and eucalyptus and I have to say eucalyptus is my favorite. It does indeed have a butterscotch note, but it's very versatile--I've used it in baking as well as on toast and straight out of the jar and it never disappoints.

I tried this one because I read that eucalyptus honey has healing properties. It may, but you eat it for the unique flavor. There is a distinct tangy taste to this honey that I think will go great in tea when I am ill. Right now, though, I am using it in my daily apple cider vinegar and raw honey cocktail. It's delicious.

We are very pleased to receive this California's treat down here in Houston. The large glass jar with a plastic top cover is a very smart idea as the jar can be reused for something else. Overall, we are very satisfied.

This is a wonderfully flavorful and thick honey that is not too sweet. It really does have notes of butterscotch and is one of my favorites along with avocado and buckwheat.

My favorite of the 6 I have tried. It has a distinctive depth and complexity. Next time I make honey ice cream I will use it.

Many years ago, I was able to go directly to the Bee Keeper to obtain my honey, but not anymore. I lost contact and have not been able to deal directly with any Bee Keepers who Cold Pack their honey, until the internet led me to Pacifica. I am now acquainted with four different flavors of honey from Pacifica: Alfalfa, Buckwheat, Eucalyptus, and Sage which give me a pretty good variety of flavors and are all Cold Packed, which gives me a feeling of a closeness to the Bee Keeper.
There is a bonus that Pacifica offers that they may not be aware of. They pack their honey in jars with metal lids that can be replaced with Mason jar plastic lids for easy screw-on and screw-off.

Some months ago, a friend from CA sent me a jar of HoneyPacifica's Eucaliptus honey, which bursted with flavor. I liked it a lot, and I recently ordered two more jars of Eucaliptus from their website. To my great disappointment, the product that arrived was far inferior to the one I'd originally tasted: this time, the flavor was mediocre and the whole thing tasted rather 'flat' and certainly not worth the $15/jar (with shipping).
Will hesitate to order again because of the inconsistent quality of the product.

Sometimes people ask us why their favorite honey variety tastes differently from jar to jar- a very good question! Many factors influence the taste, color and consistency of honey, including the amount of rain in the region where bees are collecting the nectar, sunlight, and other weather conditions. In addition, if a new plant pops up near the main nectar source, the bees may also collect from the new plant, resulting in an infusion of different flavors. So even though you may order the same variety each time, it tastes different because the bees are making it differently, or rather, the bees are using different ingredients depending on what is available to them.

I really liked this one. I had not tried cold packed honey before. It tastes really natural and the fact that it tastes like butterscotch really is something. I say try this product if you like butterscoth and you will be amazed. Thanks again Honey Pacifica.

I have consumed approximately one (16oz) jar of your cold packed honey per week since I discovered it at Whole Foods two years ago. Eucalyptus is my favorite, but I also enjoy the other varieties, just depends on what is available. To avoid the risk of running out, and not finding it in stock, I always keep an extra jar on hand. What else can I say, I'm addicted. Morning routine: Toasted Le Brea whole grain bread, a scrape of fresh butter, slathered with your honey, topped with Greek yogurt, chased with coffee. Try it!!
