How Cookie Monster and Chef Gonger got honey for their buttermilk biscuits

Cookie Monster and Chef Gonger are two monster foodies who run their own food truck on Sesame Street. They love to make delicious dishes for their friends and customers, using fresh and natural ingredients. One day, they got a special request from Gonger’s grandmother, who wanted them to make her famous buttermilk biscuits with honey for the neighborhood. But there was a problem: they had no honey!

To get some honey, Cookie Monster and Chef Gonger decided to visit Honey Pacifica's bees, where they learned how bees make honey from nectar. They learned how beekeepers take care of the bees, collect the honey in a safe and respectful way and got to wear special suits and hats to protect themselves from bee stings.

After getting some honey from the bee farm, Cookie Monster and Chef Gonger returned to their food truck and followed Gonger’s grandmother’s recipe to make the buttermilk biscuits. They mixed flour, baking powder, salt, butter, and buttermilk in a bowl, then rolled out the dough and cut out circles with a cookie cutter. They baked the biscuits in the oven until they were golden and fluffy, then drizzled some honey on top.

The buttermilk biscuits with honey were a big hit with the neighborhood. Everyone loved the sweet and savory taste of the biscuits, and thanked Cookie Monster and Chef Gonger for their hard work. Cookie Monster and Chef Gonger were happy to share their food with others, and learned a lot about where honey comes from. They also learned to appreciate the bees and beekeepers who make honey possible.

You can watch Cookie Monster and Chef Gonger's adventure at the bee farm here. Enjoy!
