Our bees only make this honey about every three years because the weather conditions in Southern California need to be perfect to trigger a black button sage super bloom. Black button sage blooms from April to June, and the bees focus their collection efforts only on sage blooms, resulting in purer and rarer honey than the Sage Honey we collect yearly.
